November 2014 Hit The Ground Running was a recent graduate residency.

 

Exploring the surrounds of Allenheads eventually leads to the glassy surface of the School House pond. Alluring and ominous, the uncertainty of what lies beneath its thick coating of rushes and lily pads, allows speculation into a surrounding narrative. The work asks you to focus on the changing states of matter and the basic inherent features of substances.
