Taking the 60’s board game ‘Mouse Trap’ as a starting point and reconstructing various elements that reference both the original game and the relative activity of hunting/snaring. Devoid of the plasticy aesthetics of the original it becomes something more ominous.  The transformation holds an air of comical violence,  the game becomes a form of facade to hide the true nature of the subject.

The work stands on the boundaries between fact and fiction evoking questions of exactly who or what are we trapping?

Twists it into something dark/Comical violence
